Less dumb than expected.

TIM and OVI Store have now a partneship for letting their customers purchasing contents and apps using the phone credit.

I belive this is smart, and everyone will follow.

Operators had two strategies to enter the social networking business. Trying to make a partnership with succesful and already well established ones, or make their own from scratch.

You have two chances when realizing your approach is not working. Keep pushing or change strategy.

TIM and OVI will explore togheter the second path.

There is nothing wrong in creating your own solution. What’s important is innovating, bringing something new that current products do not implement. Answer a demand. Or creating a new cool stream everyone would follow. Because it’s really cool.

If your homemade solution is not like that, just leave it.
